3. Feynman Explanation
Miranda was Via’s best friend when they were younger. She loved Auggie and gave him the astronaut helmet. At camp, she tells lies: she says her parents are rich and that she has a brother with a deformed face (Auggie). The lies make her popular for a while, but she loses her real friend Via. Later she helps Via get the lead role in the play. She shows that pretending to be someone else can make you lose who you really are and the people who love the real you.
